Welcome to Suzie Tucker Counselling

I believe that growth and healing happen through connection and understanding. My aim is to offer a compassionate space that fosters reflection, connection, and self-awareness, where we can work together to explore and make sense of your experiences, supporting you in moving towards greater wellbeing and your own authentic way of being.

About Suzie

I hold a BSc (Hons) degree and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling, with experience working with clients presenting a range of issues. An integrative approach means I am trained in multiple counselling models and use them flexibly to meet your individual needs and better understand your lived experiences. This approach recognises that each person’s story is unique and requires a way of working that honours that individuality.

I offer adult counselling sessions in the centre of Norwich city centre.

    Ethical and Professional Responsibilities

I am an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, which is available on the BACP website. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly undertake additional training to deepen and enhance my practice. I also work closely with experienced supervisors to support the quality, integrity, and continued growth of my work with clients.

    What to expect...

My approach is holistic and integrative, grounded in the belief that healing involves the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I see therapy as a collaborative journey of self-discovery, where we make sense of experiences, explore patterns of relating, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that have been hidden or silenced.

At its heart, counselling is not about giving answers but about exploring experiences together with openness and understanding, creating a space where you can be seen and valued for who you are. As we work together, you may begin to feel more confident and connected to yourself, to others, and to life. Difficult experiences can start to integrate, old patterns can soften, and a stronger sense of self can emerge.

Drawing on psychodynamic, humanistic, transpersonal, and somatic perspectives, I attend to what is said, what is felt, and what is held in the body. I believe meaning unfolds through relationships that invite curiosity, compassion, and presence, with creativity and imagination illuminating pathways to deeper understanding and transformation. Counselling is not only about addressing pain but also about nurturing your capacity for growth, fulfilment, and aliveness, so you can move through life with greater ease, meaning, and wholeness.

My approach is trauma-informed and relational, grounded in the understanding that healing and growth happen through connection and trust. Feeling safe and supported is the foundation for any meaningful change. I seek to provide an environment where you can feel secure, respected and understood, and where we can begin to explore difficult feelings and experiences at your own pace.

I am interested in your unique story: how life has shaped you, what feels most alive or tender now, and what might be seeking expression beneath the surface. Together, we make sense of patterns not to label them, but to understand how they once helped you adapt, and how they might now be holding you back. Through this exploration, new possibilities for growth, fulfilment, and aliveness can emerge, supporting you to move through life with greater authenticity.

    “Clients come looking for answers

    What is offered is space,

    to feel,

    to remember,

    to become.

    We do not fix.

    We hold the light

while they remember who they are.

An integration of the psyche diving deep,

together, our spirits reach far and wide.

    Bridging past and future,

    in the presence of now,

merging what was, to what is,

through a spiritual heart that knows:

    Healing is remembered

    through the lived rhythm

    of mind, body and soul”
